凋亡相关蛋白激酶1(DAPK1)又称：一般性白血病的基因，也是一种肿瘤抑制基因，广泛存在于各种细胞的凋亡系统中，该基因正常情况下有助于触发细胞在发生癌变前就死亡。但异常的DNA甲基化作用会关闭控制细胞生长的DAPK1基因，从而造成肿瘤生长。

Regulates both type I apoptotic and type II autophagic cell deaths signal, depending on the cellular setting. The former is caspase-dependent, while the latter is caspase-independent and is characterized by the accumulation of autophagic vesicles. Phosphorylates PIN1 resulting in inhibition of its catalytic activity, nuclear localization, and cellular function. Phosphorylates TPM1, enhancing stress fiber formation in endothelial cells. Phosphorylates STX1A and significantly decreases its binding to STXBP1.
